 Dr. Helena (Linda) Haskins is an accomplished nursing executive, educator, and strategic consultant with over 40 years of distinguished experience in healthcare leadership, clinical excellence, workforce transformation, and operational optimization.

​

As Founder of NursePro Excellence Consultancy, Dr. Haskins partners with healthcare organisations to strengthen nursing leadership capability, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve measurable improvements in patient outcomes, workforce engagement, and financial sustainability.

Her career spans both government and private healthcare systems, where she has led large multidisciplinary teams, directed nursing strategy at executive level, and successfully aligned clinical excellence with financial stewardship. With a deep understanding of the Chief Nursing Officer’s fiscal accountability, she has driven significant cost optimisation initiatives — including saving over 1 million dirhams in consumables within one year through standardisation, accountability frameworks, and supply chain redesign — while maintaining quality and safety standards.

She holds Diplomas in General Nursing, Midwifery, and Operating Room Nursing, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and a PhD. She is a certified Magnet Program Director, holds an IIWCG Wound Care Diploma, and has advanced credentials in NLP, Coaching, and Innovative Strategy from Oxford University.

In addition, she has collaborated with universities in postgraduate education and has mentored numerous nurses and emerging leaders through career advancement pathways, fostering confidence, academic growth, and leadership readiness. She is board member of the International Interprofessional Wound Care Group and lead the Scientific Committee in the annual conference conducted.
